Dholrhythms Dance Co.
Based in San Francisco Bay Area, Dholrhythms Dance Company is an organization dedicated to promoting the artistic and cultural heritage of India by sharing rhythms of Punjab through classes, workshops, performances and events. Since its inception in 2003, Dholrhythms has grown into a boundless and unique platform for people of diverse backgrounds to come together, express them selves, and dance in a non-competitive and positive environment.

Dholrhythms logo is called Lady O' (lady in orange). It was initially drawn as just an outline sketch by one of the family members of the company. We created an illustration of the sketch and converted it into vector and added more dimension and color to make it stand out.
The illustration is of a woman without any specific facial features to represent the multicultural members of the dance company which are all women of different ages and ethnicity. The simplicity and pose represents the rhythms and movement of the folk dances that are promoted and performed by the dance company.
